Every Futurus Pro has a set of light filters for various viewing conditions. The Orange Filter is recommended for viewing objects that are farthest away from you; this filter will also enhance the quality of the image in poor viewing conditions such as fog, haze, etc. The Protective Filter is necessary in harsh environments and is used to shield the objective lenses.

Located in the right eyepiece of any Pro series binoculars, the distance-measuring reticle is used to determine the approximate distance to a subject; it is calibrated to the height of a wild boar and the height of a buck with antlers.
