Q1: I would like to purchase this scope, but I would like to know what I need to get to attach it to my Sony Mavica CD250 digital camera.

A: If the Digital camera is an SLR with removable lens you will need a basic camera adapter and a specific Sony t-ring. If it does not have a removable front lens you will need a variable projection digital camera adapter and the T-mount.

Q2: IM INTERESTED IN THIS SPOTTING SCOPE BUT THE DISCRIPTION SAYS THAT A CAMERA ADAPTER IS NOT AVAILABLE. WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO JUST HOLD A CAMERA UP TO THE LENSE AND TAKE A PICTURE? WOULD A ADAPTER BE AVAILABLE FROM THE MANUFACTURER? PLEASE LET ME KNOW IVE BEEN LOOKING AT THESE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND I AM NOW READY TO PLACE MY ORDER. THANK YOU.

A: you could definitely hold a camera to the eyepiece to take an image. Actually i am certain you could jury rig a base that would allow you to set the camera right by the eyepiece so you wouldn't have to hold it. Celestron doesn't make an adapter for the attachment of a camera to this scope and i do not know of one from another manufacturer that would work.

Q3: Can this scope accept an Electronic Imaging Eyepiece?

A: i am sorry but no it cannot the types of scope that can accept eyepieces like the ones used on Telescopes. The Celestron 102mm Wide view scope and the ETX spotting scopes are good examples of the scopes that can use telescope style eyepieces and could be used with the Digital imaging eyepieces.

Q4: What is the CLOSEST distance it can focus on? What distance is the eye relief?

A: Close-focus distance is 33 feet at 30X magnification. Eye relief is 15mm.

Q5: What is the maximum range in yards of this scope, and if not, what kind of scopes would?

A: The Celestron C65 Mini Mak 30-90x65mm spotting scope will let you see all the way to the horizon, however far that is in your area. It also will make distant objects appear as though they are only 1/90th as far away as they actually are. That means an object a mile away will seem to be only 19.56 yards distant.
