My wife and I are amateur birders and replaced our 15-45x60 Leupold scope with the Zhumell. What a huge difference. Watched bald eagles that we could just barely see with the other scope and were able to look into their eyes with the Zhumell. Another viewer there had a much more expensive scope and we compared. Yes, the lenses are brighter and a little clearer but not thousands of dollars worth, which is the difference in the costs of both scopes. We are very happy with our new scope and I am ordering a Zhumell pair of binoculars today because we are so so please with the Zhumell product.
I have terminal cancer and do not get out often, but when I do I will be able to appreciate nature Close-up. Thanks

Although I think this is a good scope in this price range, I was less than thrilled with the focus and clarity at max magnification, especially in low light conditions. But I got it for bird watching, where low light situations are common - under the more controlled conditions of a shooting range it would probably be great.

Comments about Zhumell 22-68x90mm Superior Spotting Scopes:
Have only had my scope for 3 days. It has been cloudy so not much time to use it. I looked at some pine tree tops couple of 1000 yyards away could see the small new pine cones like they were just over head. Great first impression of distance and clarity.

Just recieved my scope last night. Needed to use it for digiscoping next week. Didn't realize it has two options for a t-ring adaptor. Opened it up, attached my camcorder and took video of a barbed wire fence at 375 yards in less than 15 min. I can see the barbs! Very impressed!

I like the scope but it is a little to big for long hikes in the back countryand to much movment on the tripod due to weight. Like that I can attach my camea to it, just need to figure out how to set my camera up! Would like to send it back for something a little less heavy that will work on my tripod, 8.8 wt cant afford the [$] tripod at this time!

Comments about Zhumell 22-68x90mm Superior Spotting Scopes:
Took my shiny new Zhumell 20-60x80 scope out to the marsh today along with my old el cheapo Celestron . I expected the Zhumell to place between the Celestron and my stolen Nikon prostaff (16-48x65) I was disappointed by more than the ugly camoflage cover. I did get what I expected in the catagory of light collection and color value. They were both average and comparable to the larger Zhumell that I had tried out last week at the same marsh. Got my moneys worth in this catagory.
My big disappointment was the false zoom factor. What Zhumell claims is 20-60 is about a 15-40. I made this determination by focusing three scopes on a sign across the marsh. With the Celestron I could read the large print "40". The Leopold gold ring 20-40 added the fine print that the bridge was limited to 40 tons. The heavy zhumell did have minimal shake of the three. It was on the beefest tripod. My family has Leica and Swarovski scopes that deliver an honest 20-60 zoom. For this bargain price I could accept the Zhumell level of proformance if it was honestly labeled. Its only a 15-45

Q1: Can you get a car window mount for this scope?
A: Yes, this scope will work with any window mount that uses a standard 1/4" screw.
Q2: Does this scope use a BAK4 or 7 prism?
A: The Scope uses BaK-4 prism glass.
Q3: How much does the Zhumell 22-68x90mm Superior Spotting Scope weigh?
A: The weight of the spotting scope is 80oz.
Q4: I am interested in getting into both astronomy and land viewing and keep going back and forth between scopes and binocs. Is this a good choice to do both at a starting level? what would you recommend?
A: If you want to view land based objects, as well as do some light star viewing or planet viewing, the Zhumell 22-68x90mm Superior Spotting Scope would work out well. With the variable zoom you would be able to take it down for doing some terrestrial viewing and you can zoom it right back up if you want to do some skyward viewing. The 90mm aperture is larger than most spotting scopes, meaning that it will bring in more light when looking into the night sky. And if you want to get deeper into space viewing, you can get a more powerful telescope and keep your spotting scope for land viewing.
