I should have ordered one of these when I first got the Bushnell Northstar 100 x 1300 Maksutof. The 25 mm eyepiece with the barlow looks better than just a higher power eyepiece. With my telescope Saturn is tiny but clear. Adding the barlow was the difference in being able to make out some of the moons.

I put this on my 130SLT and the first thing I noticed was that the lock-down screw was loose... however I couldn't tighten it! The screw was stripped and and I had to re-tap the hole, that fixed it. I do reccommend this product, but check it out the second you get it out of the box.

Comments about Meade #128 3X Barlow Lens 1.25 Inch:

I bought it to look at some planets and clusters and this is working very well. It's easy to use and the view is clear with the 21mm lens. It is not as clear with the 9mm lens, but that appears to be because of the 9mm optic lens, and not the Barlow lens. I am very satisfied with the purchase and the price.
