The Zhumell 2in. 2x ED Barlow doubles the magnifying power of any eyepiece used in conjunction with it. ED optical lenses offer unparalleled image quality and contrast. I bought the 2x Zhumell barlow lens and a 3X barlow lens from Galileo, and it makes the galileo look like a childs toy. The Zhumell 2X barlow lens is a beautiful piece of work. It's heavy, well built, and will probably last me forever. Everything looks crystal clear through it. I would highly recommend this barlow lens as I'm going to sell my 3X Galileo barlow lens now!

I tried it with a TeleVue BinoVue and I did not like the results. The picture through the Bino and its Meade SWA eyepieces was better without it. With just one eyepiece and no bino the results were better but I was not that happy about it. It's built like a tank. The lens is removable and can be attached to a 2" diagonal for lower magnifications.

            I've been looking at Jupiter for the last two months thru my Meade 6" refractor w/2" 15mm eyepiece. I used my new 2"2x barlow at Lake Arrowhead last night and what a treat it was. Jupiter appeared much larger and the clarity was nearly as good as w/out it. Then I checked out Orion. Wow, I've never seen the nebula so close inside. Then I just freewheeled through the Milky Way. Thank you. I loved it.
