Telescope Carrying Case for Meade 6" and 8" ETX-LS LightSwitch Telescope
The case includes wheels, a luggage-style retractable handle (for towing), two latches (one lockable), two steel reinforced handles (for lifting), a 2" by 23" steel hinge and die-cut foam lining with compartments for telescope, eyepieces and accessories. A protective pouch is included for the hand unit. An automatic repositioning quick-release finder bracket is also included. This bracket allows the finder scope to be removed and placed in the carrying case without loosing its alignment positioning. Simply reinstall the finder with a single thumbscrew and you are ready to go. The case comes ready for the Meade LS-6 scope. Two strips of foam are easily removed to accommodate the Meade LS-8
Outside dimensions of the case are approximately 27-3/8" x 20" x 17-7/8" and its empty weight is approximately 18.4 lbs. The shipping box is approximately 23-1/4" x 17-3/4" x 32" and the shipping weight is approximately 24.7 lbs. All values are subject to slight changes.
