    Pro: The case has plenty of room for Manuals, AutoStar unit with extra batteries, Extra Lenses, T64 Camera Adapter, and with 5 minutes of work to the foam core I fit my Camera body.
    Con: When you pick up the case it has a flex under the handle. The case has a lot of give since only the edges are made of aluminum.
    Bottom Line: The case does a great job for storage and transporting the scope, but I would not try to walk far with it.

    The case is good for storing you scope. The scope fits perfectly and the precut foam are great.
    The case is NOT made for rough handling. Actually I am even afraid to drop it. The hinges appear to be weak, especially the locking clasps.
    I would only recommend it if you are using it for storage and if you are transporting it yourself.
    Definitely not good for checking in at the airport.

      Rocks slightly when on level ground on its 4 small feet pads. The case might not be exactly square. This does not affect functionality. Good internal padding with flexible cut outs for accessories.

      Exterior of case is very similar, but not identical, to photo.

      Want to transport my Telescope as safely as I can. Thought about utilizing the packing insert, but decided, for a few extra bucks, get the real thing. I am very happy with the case. It is light. NOT a "strongbox" by any means, but will protect my gear from home to car to site and back. CAN'T IMAGINE using it as carry-on baggage..not even CLOSE. [...]

        Q1: does it hold the tripod as well?

        A: Unfortunately, the Hard Carry Case for the ETX-125 telescope does not hold a tripod. However, a tripod shoulder bag ships with the scope.

        Q2: Hi, The case shown in the photos above has pre-cut foam padding. Is this standard?

        A: The Hard Case for Meade ETX-125 Telescopes comes standard with foam inserts precut to fit the ETX-125.

        Q3: Do you ship to UK, if yes, what is the total price including shipping

        A: Unfortunately, Meade does not allow us to ship any of its products outside the U.S. and Canada, so we would be unable to offer a Hard Case for ETX-125 Telescopes for delivery in the UK. If we can help with products by other manufacturers, though, please let us know!
