          very well designed to protect the instrument and its accessories. Locks on the latches are too stiff for the keys to turn also keys are very weak too thin.

          The case is OK for general transport and the padding is decent, but there is no cutout for the viewfinder, so it has to be removed from the telescope and carried separately (no place to put it in the case). The latches are not terribly secure and the hard plastic handle is uncomfortable after a few minutes of carrying.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          I ordered this case at the same time that I ordered the ETX-90. I was notified by the manufacturer that I had received the case for the previous version of the telescope. I was offered by the manufacturer a replacement but choose to return the lot (see my review of the ETX-90 I received.)
