Q1: Hi, I understand that an addition cut-out foam piece is required to be fitted in for a LX90 to fit in properly. Can you verify if this is true and if yes, how many pieces of cut-out foam are there? Thanks.

A: With the Case for the LX90 froms Jim Mobile i have never heard of there being an additional piece of cut out foam required but you need to remove your finderscope from the tube. there si a compartment that will fit the viewfinder.

Q2: Does this case also fit the LX200R 8 inch scope?

A: Yes, it does. The mounts and tubes are identical.

Telescope Carrying Case for Meade LX 8"
Meade LX200 8" (both GPS and non-GPS), LX100 8", LX90, LX50 8"
The case includes four lockable latches, three steel-reinforced handles, a 3" by 26" steel hinge and die-cut foam lining with compartments for telescope, eyepieces, finder scope (must be detached and inserted into a foam compartment), and accessories. It can be carried or pulled using the attached wheels. An optional Large-Wheel Upgrade is available.
Outside dimensions of the case are approximately 31.5L x 21.5W x 13.5H inches and its empty weight is approximately 21 pounds.
