          I have several for my large collection of astronomical eyepieces, filters, optical diagonals, and even 19th century telescope accessories. The cases are well padded for safe storage and transport of my optical components. I have not been turned down yet by the airlines for placement in the cabin overhead storage. Have not yet tested for waterproofness.
