You Won't have to use it much, but if you have an alignment problem, it's the state of the art tool to correct it.

If you are looking for a good collimator to set up your telescope, look no further. This does not have the printed scale in the site window, nor is the laser light level adjustable like some fancier models, but the quality is top drawer. Heavy, well made.
