    I've recently purchased a used 13.1 inch red tube Coulter. It had no cover and I was looking for a way to protects it from dust.
    I got this cover and I was happy to find out that it fits perfectly on my telescope. It does its purpose - protects from dust and I'm happy with it.

    These are pretty nice dust covers, save for the fact they are way too big. I have a pretty standard 10" Celestron dob made out of a Sonotube. I ordered the 10" covers and ended up having to sew big 4" pleats into the covers to make them fit. Better than too small I suppose. [$] seems a tad expensive for a couple of thick pieces of cloth with elastic bands too. Overall though, a couple of minor modifications and these do serve their purpose well.

                These do run large, allowing for tube sizes that are larger than the main mirror.

                The 12" size is a good fit for a 12" LX200, with or without the dew shield, which is about 14" in diameter. For those of us who stay setup all season, this provides a badly needed, light weight dust cover for the dew shield -- perfect.

                Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
