I ordered this image erector to turn a little Astroscan scope into a good spotting scope for terrestrial use. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but when placed into the optical train my low power eyepiece images were transformed to very close...focusing on the window pane and not being useful to focus through pane out into the backyard for bird watching. Might work at the beach, but right now I just think it is not a good match. I have great confidence in Celestron and this source so am not bad mouthing product or service. I would go to either for another project.. I just pushed this beyond its intended use I suspect.

I have a 6" cm scope. For space, orientation does not matter, but I viewed a hawk at 300 yards sitting in a tree and correct R to L is nice
