Q1: does it fit the 8x50 viewfinder
A: i am sorry but no this is designed to fit on the telescope itself.
Q2: i have a Polaris model 50AZ-P D=50mm F=625mm. my prism broke and my tripod broke. can you recommend a replacement for these items? the prism had a 90 degree angle.
A: For the prism it will depend on the format .965" or 1.25" any standard table top tripod should work very well with that Meade lists one in the tripod series.
