I purchased this 2" Meade Diagonal hoping to improve my visual observing as my eyes are not what they used to be. I have trouble seeing dim images and I am disappointed that I cannot see them as I did when I was a teenager. The 2" Meade diagonal has brought me some of my youth by improving the image brightness. Jupiter looked substantially better than I have ever seen it in the past. I ordered the 100 deg Scientific Explorer eyepiece and a 2" Teleview Nebula filter to use with my new Meade 2" Diagonal. Should get them tomorrow. I'm geeked!

The difference between a normal diagonal's 89% reflectivity and Meade's 2 inch enhanced 99% reflectivity is noticeable. In addition the ability to use 2 inch oculars is a must for anyone with a larger aperture telescope, for example a SCT of 8 inches or greater.
