Q1: Hi, Can you say what is an eye relief of Meade Series 4000 Eyepieces? Thanks.

A: Eye relief of Series 4000 eyepieces is: 6.4= 3mm 9.7= 5mm 15= 9mm 26= 18mm 32= 20mm

Q2: If I bought a Meade now, could I buy the Meade eyepiece later at a reduced price?

A: Unfortunately, the Meade Series 4000 Eyepiece & Filter Set can only be purchased at the special price when ordered WITH the qualifying Meade telescope.

Q3: what do the filters for the eye pieces do?

A: The filters with this kit are used to change the color skew of the object being viewed. For example, if you were to look at mars and it looks too red to make out a good amount of detail, you can apply a blue filter and the details would "pop" out. We do have filters that will allow you to view the sun. They are called solar filters and they can be applied to the end of your telescope so that you can view the sun.
