    This Zhumell filter is perfect if your observing site is pretty dark, or just slightly light polluted. It will filter out the light Sky Glow that you always experience.

    The nice thing about this filter, is it will filter out the unwanted glow while retaining the stars and other deep sky objects. The sky looks blacker in the eyepiece, and the stars and other look brighter with better contrast. This filter will also enhance the planets.

    This is a great quality filter, and the price is unbeatable. Grab this one up.

    this filter will help greatly at darkening the sky especually in light polluted areas but also somewhat dims whatever object you are looking at. with farely dark viewing conditions the image with and without this filter are about the same on deep sky objects but if you are in a very light polluted area it will definatly help blocking the light pollution

        Darkens the sky, thus eliminating some light pollution. Increases contrast slightly, but adds a horrible phosphorus GREEN overlay to any bright object !! I would rather deal with the LP than look at a synthetic green Moon or Jupiter !! A total waste of money.

          I am still in shock by the packaging. The filter came in a 12"x12"x12" box. Was it packed well....Yes, I think a tank could have run over it w/o hurting it.
