Meade #1A Skylight Filter/Dust Seal

The Meade #1A skylight filter threads onto the rear cell of a Meade LX-Series telescope and prevents dust infiltration. All other rear cell accessories may then be threaded to the #1A filter. Besides sealing the telescope, the filter increases visual and photographic contrast, decreases glare and helps to penetrate haze.

All Meade 4000-series filters are manufactured to extremely close tolerances from high-quality optical glass that's anti-reflective-coated and precision-mounted in machined aluminum cells. Each filter comes in a foam-fitted, plastic case to provide secure, long-term storage. ^--jtyl
