Q1: Can I use the Meade Moon Filter ND96 on my DS2130S telescope?
A: Absolutely! The Meade moon filter will work with any telescope that uses a 1.25 eyepiece format
Q2: I have a Bushnell reflective telescope, It has a 3x extender on it and a 20mm lens is this good enough to begin exploring the night skys? If not please advise. plus would the Meade Moon Filter help? thanks will.
A: The Bushnell Reflector should give you hours of enjoyment. The 20mm eyepiece should give you a start used with or without the 3X Barlow lens. You'll get brighter images without the Barlow, however. It's best to use eyepieces without the Barlow if you can because of light loss. That's why outfits like Zhumell, Meade and Celestron make eyepiece kits. You need eyepieces of different focal lengths for different viewing situations. The Meade Moon Filter would be useful, but we'd recommend an eyepiece & filter kit instead. Here's the URL for a Zhumell Eyepiece & Filter Kit that will perform well for you. It contains a Moon Filter: http://telescopes.com/products/zhumell-1-25in-eyepiece-and-filter-kit-31061.html. You'll find the eyepieces will give better image quality than the 20mm ocular that came with the telescope.
