It's not just another dust cover - it's a multi-functional integrated wheel system which allows for quick 'shutter-like' operation.

Triangles are the answer:
Each AstroCap is shipped with one triangle wheel for quick focus. Triangles create diffraction spikes, which makes it easier to focus.

(No more trying to focus on three blobs using a round hole focusing cap.)

Simply turn the thumbscrew to open, and turn to close.

No plastic plugs required.

Optional wheels for checking collimation & off-axis viewing are available.

AstroCaps are made from aluminum and powder-coated texture black.
Wheels are made from ABS plastic and are designed for quick changeovers.
