Focusing cap
Astrozap focusing caps with integrated Bahtinov focusing wheel
Unlike a simple Hartman or Bahtinov mask, the Astrozap focusing cap is a multi-purpose tool which allows for quick 'shutter-like' operation. Just turn the wheel to the open position for focusing, and then turn it again to the closed position to keep the dust out, or to image dark frames with your CCD or DSLR camera.
The focusing wheel can be easily removed and replaced with an off-axis wheel for off-axis viewing, or an off-axis solar filter wheel for solar viewing on larger telescopes.
Simply turn the thumbscrew to the open position, and turn to close. No plastic plugs required, and no tools needed. Made from lightweight aluminum and powder-coated texture black.

Comments about AstroZap Focusing Cap with Bahtinov Wheel:
The Bahtinov Wheel works as advertised. It eliminates the hardest thing to do for imaging...proper focus which is easily achieved with this mask. I have purchased 3 of these masks, for my 80mm, 10" and 14". The only thing I've noticed that is a slight drawback is that you MUST focus on a very bright star or the diffraction spikes used to achieve perfect focus are somewhat diffuse and difficult to see in "live view" on the computer in the Canon DSLR imaging software as well as Maxim DL. Having said that, choosing a bright star is usually a very easy thing to do so this is not a major concern. They are a bit heavier than the competition's masks, but you get the added benefit of having a scope dust cover as well. Other than this they operate flawlessly.

Comments about AstroZap Focusing Cap with Bahtinov Wheel:
The AstroZap Bahtinov wheel works well to provide easy focus on astrophoto camera. It creates three distinct lines on the diffraction grating, which can easily be used to adjust focus on the OTA without needing to use a visual eyepiece parafocal to the imager.
Fits onto the front of the OTA in place of a regular screen/cap and the masks can be rotated out of the apertures so it becomes a normal cap for taking dark frames.
