Q1: will it work with the original DS 114 telescopes? How does it work with Autostar handbox?
A: it has its own box that you will use to adjust the focus and yes it will work with all DS models
Q2: I have a Tasco 114 model scope that i purchased here on this web site will this focuser work for it? If not this which one?
A: i am sorry but there actually is not an electric focuser that will work with the Tasco telescopes. the Meade's will only work for Meade scopes and Tasco does not make one for theirs.
Q3: Will the Meade #1240 work with the Meade DS-2130S telescope - do you have any pictures of it installed?
A: The Meade #1240 will work on the DS-2130, as well as many other telescopes. Some folks have even adapted them to LXD75 8- and 10-inch Schmidt-Newtonians. Unfortunately, we do not have a photo of one installed on a DS-2130, however.
Q4: I purchased the electronic focuser from you and was wondering is you can get a longer cord with a coupler so I can use it from inside the house when I use my LPI imager on my laptop?
A: Unfortunately, Meade does not offer a longer cord for the #1240 Electric Focuser. You might be able to obtain one from an electronics shop, but be careful of voiding the warranty.
Q5: Will this work with the NGC-60E Meade telescope? My manual states to use this but just want to be sure.
