Helpful addition to the FirstScope
The eyepieces make good additions to the FirstScope. The finder scope is pretty much useless, in my opinion. TheSkyX First Light edition is helpful software if you don't already own similar software.

I ordered this on Friday and paid the minimum $4 for shipping and it arrived 3 days later with no delay. The scope is a good thing to have so that before you look into the firstscope you know where you're looking. It also helps you find fainter objects like the Orion Nebula which I located and observed in city light pollution. The two eyepieces are also great, the 12.5mm is the one I now primarily use, and the 6mm is great for finding planets. To do any lunar observation you need to get a moon filter no matter what. With the moon filter I am able to see all of the craters of the vast moon's surface. Overall this kit is a great investment and I would recommend it to all firstscope owners.

it's a great thing, adds value to the "first scope", it adds portability, extra eyepieces, a finder scope, and a lunar filter. it would be nice to include a case for all the eyepieces (the scope and this kit make 4 eyepieces, plus a filter, i had a pelican case that does this nicely floating about)
the CD, "the SkyX", works fine with windows XP, and is a good guide to what you can see at night on any given day, and to plan future outings of observations.
i consider this package to be a great bargain and a required addition to the "first scope". maybe make this an "optional package" with the telescope.
