Now you can operate your LX200 or LX400 telescope from more than 100 feet away without wires! Just plug the wireless receiver into the handbox port of the drive base, turn on the Wireless AutoStar II controller and you'll have complete, tether-free control of every feature of your telescope. No more cords to get in the way!

The new Wireless Autostar II system uses radio signals instead of infrared, so you won't even have to be in direct line of sight for operation. And each controller has its own, separate communication code so any number of astronomers can observe together with Wireless AutoStar II controllers and not interfere with each other.

The latest in technology from Meade, the black-clad Wireless Autostar II controller features enhanced ergonomic design to make it easy on the hands over long periods of use. Buttons are back-lighted with adjustable red glow. Featuring improved tactile response, they send instantaneous commands to the telescope. Those familiar with the corded version of AutoStar will easily master the Wireless AutoStar II with its new, intuitive button arrangement and familiar two-line, sixteen character scrolling LED display.

All of the standard functions of the corded controller thats included with your telescope are included in this new controller.  Controller weighs only 5.5 ounces and is powered by 4AA batteries (not included)

The Meade Autostar II Wireless Controller ships with a wireless adapter plug (for telescope handbox port) and Velcro to attach adapter plug to a telescope base.
