In order to utilize the online firmware updates you may need, this programming cable connects to the PC port on the telescopes drive base. For use with CPC, CGE, NexStar GPS Series models and is also compatible with Advanced GT and NexStar telescopes when used with Auxiliary Port Accessory Kit (CELE033). This cable connects to your PC's serial port, but if you plan to use with a USB port, you must purchase a Celestron USB to RS-232 Converter (CELE043). Length: 84 inches.
