Q1: Can this software operate with windows XP?

A: Absolutely.

Q2: Is this the appropriate software and cable package for a 12" LX90 scope?

A: Yes. The #505 cable/software package will work just fine with a 12-inch LX-90 scope.

Q3: will the #505 Astrofinder work with the Meade DS114 w/ auto star? also would the electronic eyepiece work on the DS 114 and if not is their one I could hook up to my lap top so the family could sit on the special deck I built for my scope?

A: Yes, both the #505 Astrofinder software and the Electronic Eyepiece will work nicely with the DS114 scope with AutoStar.

Q4: will the #505 software/cable kit work with the Meade DSX 90 Autostar?

A: Hello, Yes, this will work with any Meade scope that uses the #497 hand controller (which I believe the DSX does) Best Regards, Denny

Q5: Does this software work with Windows VISTA?

A: No. The 505 software requires a PC running Windows 98SE through Windows XP. It will not run under Windows 95 or earlier, nor will it run under Windows Vista.
