The Baader Planetarium Stronghold Tangent Assembly is used for viewfinders, guiding scopes, telephoto lenses as a piggy back mounting system. Max load is 7kgs. Its very compact but stiff 2D head with micro adjustments.
- Perfect for fixing a guidescope to the main telescope
- Using telephoto lenses for piggy back astrophotography
- Attaching viewfinders or rich-field telescopes to the existing telescope
- Normal photography - adjust the camera precisely for reproducable results
Base side connections
- 1/4" and 3/8" photo thread allows mounting on photo tripods
- GP dovetail clamp can also be attached on the base side
- Additional metric thread bores for individual solutions
