It is lighweight but strong enough for its purpose. The bull's eye level is useful. I use an Equatorial Wedge on a #887 tripod so the 2 small holes for mounting don't work for me. I knew that beforehand so it was not an issue for me to drill a 1/2" hole in the center of the tray for the bolt to pass through. I like the tray and it solves the problems of having to find a place for the Autostar and eyepieces when observing.
