Description

Mounting another telescope on top (piggyback) of your Meade LX200 or LX90 telescope requires a mounting plate and tube rings.  The new Meade Series 5000 Auxiliary Equipment Mounting Dovetail Plates is exactly what you need. 

Mounting a refractor telescope piggyback on your LX200 or LX90 can be great for either autoguiding or use as a wide-field imaging scope.  Combined with Meade Series 5000 Dovetail Ring Sets, you will be able to allow other telescopes to be mounted on top. 

Precision milled from 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum, these dovetail bars are designed to be the best available.  Includes stainless steel mounting hardware for simple attachment.

    Auxiliary Equipment Mounting Dovetail Plates attached to my 10" LX200r in about 10 minutes. Works with Losmandy D-series style dovetails. Does not interfere with placement of dew heaters or dew shield. Very solid rock steady mounting platform.
