Description

Mounting another telescope on top (piggyback) of your Meade LX200 or LX90 telescope requires a mounting plate and these tube rings.

Mounting a refractor telescope piggyback on your LX200 or LX90 can be great for either autoguiding or use as a wide-field imaging scope.  Combined with Meade Series 5000 Dovetail Plates, you will be able to allow other telescopes to be mounted on top.

    I own a Meade LX200 Classic 12" SCT. I had become SO frustrated with Orion's mounting equipment. Their did NOT fit. Their photos look great...but buyer BEWARE. Finally, Meade has come out with the perfect way to mount accessory scopes (auto-guiders) onto your existing Meade telescope. This was perfect--down to the last screw. Perfect fit. Perfect machined. PERFECT.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
