This is a great option for me due to the weight of my mount and will save time because I no longer need to assemble or take down my scope.I can get right to viewing or imaging quickly. It is very well made and overall I would give it 5 thumbs up except that no washers were provided for the 1/4" bolts.There should have been 12 1/4" flatwashers included.

This is the ultimate scope accessory (apart from building your own observatory). When I purchased a used 14" LX200GPS this became an immediate need in order to use the scope. It weighs in at 225 pounds with the tripod. Wheelie bars were the ONLY realistic solution. Assembly was a breeze and was completed in under 1 hour. Now my scope travels from the garage to the end of my driveway without breaking my back. I also have no fear of taking it out in snow or ice, it is ultra-stable and rolls with relative ease on the 10" pnumonic tires (optional upgrade). If I did not have the wheelie bars, I suspect my 14" LX200 would not get much use. I cannot recommed this enough to owners of heavy scopes that are not permanently mounted.
