Celestron's universal 1.25-inch T-adapter will allow you to attach your 35mm SLR camera to your telescope or spotting scope. Then you can take magnified photos of earth-bound objects as well as lunar and planetary subjects. The adapter can also be used for long-exposure, deep-sky photography when it's attached to a separate guidescope.
Celestron's Universal T-Adapter (drop-in style) fits any make telescope that uses a 1.25-inch focuser or visual back. Able to work seamlessly with a T-Ring made specifically for your brand of camera (sold separately), it expands the utility of both camera and telescope.

Q1: Will the T adapter and T Ring work with the Canon Digital Rebel camera?
A: The T-ring will need to be the Canon EOS T-Ring and the regular adapter will depend on what telescope you are trying to adapt it to
Q2: I have a Celestron NexStar 114 SLT and a Canon EOS Rebel XT Digital 35mm camera. What do I need to take pictures of the moon through my telescope? Thanks.
A: You'll need the Celestron T-Adapter Universal 1 1/4 Inch that you've already located, plus Celestron's T-ring for Canon EOS. Here's the URL for the T-ring; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://telescopes.com/products/celestron-t-ring-canon-eos-6046.html.
Q3: I would like to put my Celestron ultima 100 ED on my new Sony dslr A-100 camera. Can i accomplish this with the Minolta Maxxum t-ring mount and the Celestron universal 1 1/4 inch adapter? Thankou...
A: The T-Ring Maxxum should work just fine. You won't need the Celestron T-Adapter, though. The Ultima 100's eyepiece has T-threads on it. Just remove the rubber eyecup to expose the threads.
Q4: What exactly do I need to purchase from you to allow a Nikon D80 digital camera to take pictures through my several telescopes. Some have 1 1/4" tubing and some are 2". I cannot buy the D80 until these hookup questions are resolved. Thank you in advance
A: You will need a device like the Celestron T-Adapter Universal 1.25-inch, which you've already found, plus a T-Ring to fit the camera. Here's the URL for a T-ring; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://telescopes.com/products/zhumell-t-ring-nikon-30837.html. Then you'll need an adapter to mate the 1.25-inch T-Adapter to a 2-inch focuser. Here's the URL: http://telescopes.com/products/zhumell-2in-1-25in-eyepiece-adapter-38699.html
