The Celestron PowerTank portable power source is a must-have accessory for any astronomer. Best used with the larger NexStar GPS, Advanced Series and CGE series telescopes, it also will work with Meade telescopes when used with an adapter. The PowerTank 17 contains a rechargeable, 17-ampere-hour battery to ensure you have a LONG time to view with your telescope! Plug the PowerTank into your car's cigarette lighter socket or a regular AC house-current outlet to recharge.
