The #607 Power Cord will power a Meade ETX-90/105/125 or LX-90 or LXD55/75 or LX200 GPS telescope from a car. The cord is 25 feet long. The adapter plugs into the telescope's control panel and supplies 12v DC directly from your automobile's cigarette lighter socket. It eliminates the need to insert batteries into the telescope.

my Meade LS 8 drains batteries within a couple of hours of use. I have connected the #607 DC Power Cord to a 12 volt batter source (Coleman battery pack) and now I can run all night.

A: i am sorry but no this will not work for the ETX-70 there actually is not a DC adapter available for it.

A: i am sorry but no. meade does not have the DS series scopes set up to recieve power from a DC adapter. the only adapter that will work with the DS series scopes is the #546 AC Adapter.
Q3: Hi, I have a Celestron 12 vdc power supply for my other scope which has the inner conductor as +12 volt and the outer conductor is -12 volt. Is this the same polarity as needed for the LX90 8" SCT?
A: it is not quite the same for the LX90 Meade only has a DC adapter #607 Power Cord available otherwise it uses C cell batteries.
