This is a very high quality eyepiece, great clarity and fairly wide view. You can use this for astronomy or terrestrial viewing. The rings of Saturn show and even the Cassini division if you have a good viewing night. The belts of Jupiter are very clear and for the moon it's awesome. For the price it's definitely worth it.

My first big investment in an eyepiece for my telescope and I love it. Great for viewing deep sky objects such as nebula and open clusters.

Surprisingly good build quality, in particular, the coating and the overall fit-n-finish. The eyeguard has silky smooth motion and very easy to use. No grease been seen. They are very comfortable to look through, especially in a pair of binoviewer. The on-axis sharpness and contrast are great, and the internal reflection, scatter and ghosting are hard to notice, meaning very impressive for a [$] EP.The only thing I found the Meade HD-60 25mm lacks is the sharpness near the edge. In my setup, the incoming light cone is f/10, and I found the last 1/3 of the field has a small amount of astigmatism, but it's nowhere near being protruding because the astigmatism remains well controlled and only gets worse slowly towards the edge. I'd give the EP 4.5 star.
