    Great eye piece, recommended by Terrence Dickinson in his book. Bought a 12mm along with Celestron 2x barlow. Both work great on my WO 80mm refractor.

    I bought this eyepiece for my 5" spotting scope to get wider views and it does the job nicely. Clarity and brightness are very good. The twist up eye cup is different. One of the few 40mm eyepieces available for a 1 1/4" scope.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
