Got your own plans for your 14" Meade OTA? If the standard AZ mount that is supplied with the LX200 series telescopes is not for you, or you are not intersted in using a Wedge for polar alignment, maybe you have your own plans on your own EQ mount set up? The Meade LX200-ACF telescopes are also available in OTA tube only. Thats what you get, just the tube - none of the unneeded stuff.
Meade OTA optical tubes in the 8 and 10 inch models ship with a Univeral Sliding Mounting Bracket of the Vixen style. The 12, 14 and 16 inch OTA's do not include any mounting hardware. There are plenty of aftermarket choices for mounting plates for your specific needs.
