Q1: Can images taken with the LPI be downloaded onto a computer/laptop? If so, in what format?
A: It will download them as a jpeg.
Q2: Bonjour,
Pouvez vous exp←dier vos mat←riels en France et quelles sont sont conditions de paiement ?
Bien ¢ vous,
J.Sr.
A: i am sorry but we are not allowed to ship Meade products outside of the US as per our dealer agreement with them.
Q3: Can the Meade ETX-104AT be used with a 35mm camera mounted "piggy back". That is, are the drive motors "powerful" enough and the mount mechanisms sturdy enough to support the added weight of a standard 35mm SLR camera and the ETX used to guide the camera?
A: i am sorry but the Meade ETX 105 is just not big enough to piggy back a camera. You can adapt one to the rear thread though using a T-mount and T-ring.
Q4: After my research I am stuck between ETX-90PE UHTC or the ETX-105AT UHTC. Are the new perks of the 90PE model really more valuable as to put aside the greater focal length of the 105at?
A: That's a tough questions as the perks with the PE versions are great but i guess my suggestion would be the 105 as aperture is truly the key for the best views.
Q5: Can one purchase the ETX-105AT less the tripod and if so would there be a credit.
A: i am sorry but no, Meade does not sell them that way they automatically come with the tripod. if you just wanted the tube though you could look at Meades line of ETX spotting scopes.
Q6: are meade telescopes a good brand of telescopes and is the meade ETX-105 a good quality telescope
A: the answer to both of your questions is yes. Meade is one of the largest telecope manufacturer's in the world they know their optics. The 105 is a great scope as it utilizes Meades Autostar (which makes it a lot easier to find and locate celestial objects) and has a 4" aperture (light gathering surface)
Q7: If I buy Meade DS2102AT-TC, Can I take photographs of celestial objects? If so, What do I need to take photographs?
A: Yes, the Meade DS2102AT can be used for astrophotography. To take photos of celestial objects, you'll need either a digital camera or an imaging device like the Meade Deep Space Imager (DSI) (http://telescopes.com/products/meade-dsi-deep-sky-imager-color-wautostar-suite-31017.html) that works with a laptop or PC. If you choose to go the digital camera route, you'll want either a T-adapter and a T-ring to fit your brand/model camera or a device like the Zhumell Universal Digiscoping Adapter (small). Here's the URL for the Digiscoping Adapter: http://telescopes.com/products/zhumell-universal-digiscoping-adapter-small-36562.html.
And here's the URL for the T-Adapter: http://telescopes.com/products/zhumell-universal-t-adapter-1-25-inch-camera-adapter-30842.html.
Q8: I am awaiting arrival of the Meade ETX-105At Astro Telescope advertised on this page with the four free accessories. This page shows it comes with an #884 delux tripod. The downloadable manual states that to use in Equatorial mount position I need to Choo
A: The Meade ETX-105AT telescope will work in polar mode just fine as equipped.
Q9: What is the shipping weight of this product?
Thanks
D
A: Shipping weight of the ETX-105AT Astro Telescope is 37 pounds.
Q10: I was wondering what the aperture of the ETX-105AT is.
A: The ETX-105AT Astro telescope has a 105mm aperture.
Q11: I have decided to get an ETX--either a 90 or the 105.
Is the portability of the 105 as good as the 90?
And, what does the PE edition get you that the AT edition does not?
Thanks!
A: The Meade ETX-105 is just about as portable as the ETX-90. There's not much difference in size between the two optical tubes. The Premier Edition scope gives you self-aligning capability, while the AT version does not.
