This is a wonderful little item. It can be difficult to get used to, in particular keeping the scope aligned on your target. The image seems sharp, but if you want an item that delivers great views you'll probably be happier with a good set of binocs or a spotting scope. Keep in mind, this is a novelty/decorative item, so don't expect superior optics or ease of use. The carrying case is adequate and convenient, and it came with a cleaning cloth, which was unexpected and a nice bonus. All in all, I enjoy this spyglass. It looks quite nice, while still delivering decent magnification and clarity.

I bought this telescope for my five year old grandson, who watched Pirates of the Carrabin. He absolutely loves it, it is a very nice functionally telescope that would work for any age group.

I work for the Parks Department for my city, and I also am a bird watcher & nature buff. This little scope comes in so handy in my daily routine, both for work purposes and to appreciate nature by identifying bird species. I Love it so much, I own two like this! It's also a lot lighter than binoculars, though it takes practice to hold it steady.
