Q1: Is the viewfinder right angle correct image (RACI)? What type of glass is the mirror? (Bk7 or Pyrex) and what are the mirror coatings?

A: The viewfinder is a standard Bk7 glass and has no multicoatings.

Q2: Can you tell me the length of the 12" Zhumell optical tube and the width and height of the assembled base? I need to know whether it will fit into my car. The 8" I bought from you folks a while back is a great telescope its just, well, you know how that aperture fever thing goes... :)

A: The optical tube length is 50" and the base dimensions are 22"W x 30"H.

Q3: 1. what type of glass is the main mirror? 2. what type of coating on the main mirror? 3. what is the OTA weight?

A: The Main mirror is made of a Pyrex glass. The glass is coated with aluminum coatings with a magnesium fluoride coat to provide bright images full of detail. The OTA weighs 60lbs.

Q4: Is the mirror center-marked for collimation?

A: The primary mirror is marked for collimation on the Zhumell Z12 Deluxe Dobsonian Reflector Telescope.
