A telescope that talks!
The NorthStar 675 x 4.5-inch reflecting telescope with Real Voice Output features legendary Bushnell quality and reliability, plus ease-of-use features that can't be topped!
Automatic, 'Go-To' technology takes the work out of amateur astronomy by locating celestial objects for you. With a built-in database of 20,000 objects, it'll take you wherever you want to go. Just enter a simple 'Go-To' command, and the NorthStar's computer does the rest, automatically placing the object in your eyepiece.
Tracking, too, is automatic via the NorthStar's computer.
The remote, hand-held control module features red, backlit push buttons and a red, illuminated, LCD read-out for easy viewing without jeopardizing hard-won night vision. And, if you choose to point the telescope yourself, there's a 1X, wide-angle, red-dot finderscope to make quick work of locating any objects you want to view.
Included 4mm and 20mm eyepieces deliver 34 and 170X magnification, respectively; double those figures with the included 2X Barlow lens.
Icing on the cake is the innovative, Real Voice Output feature that provides a fun, interactive way to explore the night sky. The NorthStar 675 x 4.5 actually talks to you as it guides you through a tour of the universe. This is a quality telescope with a difference: It's got a voice!

If you are interested in getting to know the night sky without spending a small fortune, this telescope is a good place to start.
This telescope is big enough to view nebula, star clusters, some galaxies, and of course the moon and planets, while being light enough to be extremely portable.
The go-to feature can and SHOULD be used to teach yourself the night sky.
The only upgrade this scope needs right off the bat are eyepieces. I would consider a 20mm Plossl for deep sky objects, and a 6-10mm for planets. Also, a light pollution filter will greatly enhance deep-sky viewing.
No question, this scope will show you enough to more than wet your appetite and help you decide if your ready to upgrade to a bigger scope down the road to really fill you up!

THE ONLY GOOD THINGS ABOUT IT IS THE RED DOT SIGHT, THE GOTO FEATURE WHEN SETUP AND THE PUSH BUTTON CONTROLS. IT IS GOOD FOR BEGINNERS AND KIDS. THIS ITEM CANNOT "SEE" ANYTHING AT HIGHER POWERS AND PROPPER EYEPIECES WILL MOT WORK PROPPERLY ON IT BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO HEAVY FOR THE DRIVE MECHANISM.

Comments about Bushnell NorthStar 900x114 Motorized Starfinder Telescope:
i gave up trying to see the moon, stars or planets with this scope. it was a gift i selected out of my company's catalog for 20 years service...but i have binoculars that are better for viewing the night sky. the setup is compicated, with a very primitive type in method for setting up your location. honestly, i can see Andromeda, the moons of Jupiter and the craters of the moon sharper than with the fuzzy optics of this dinosaur.

Comments about Bushnell NorthStar 900x114 Motorized Starfinder Telescope:
The Tripod is so unstable as to make the scope frustrating to use, the motors used in the scope are cheap and break down with any type of regular use. The focuser is stiff to the point of knocking the scope out of alignment when trying to focus. The customer service at bushnell is terrible, they are less than concerned with their astronomy customers. overall this is a big expensive paperwieght.
