The new Meade ETX Premier Edition telescopes feature the new Level North Technology (LNT) to automatically align your telescope with the night sky. Take the telescope outside and place it on the included tripod and tell the telescope your location by entering your latitude and longitude or simply enter your zip code. The scope will use its internal level sensor and magnetic north sensor to level the telescope and point it north. The built-in internal clock will tell the telescope the correct time. Next the telescope will will choose its first alignment star automatically and move to it -- you just center this star with the red dot on the Smart Finder window. The telescope will choose another star and automatically move to it again allowing you to center this star with the Smart Finder window again. Now you're ready to view thousands of objects at the push of a button. Or choose the "guided tour" and let the telescope automatically show you the best objects in the sky at that moment.
