Celestron Reducer / Corrector f/6.3

Little giant!

Celestron's combination focal reducer and field-corrector lens accessory is a little wonder. It makes it possible to have a dual-focal-ratio instrument without sacrificing image quality, and it works with all Celestron C5, C8, C9.25, C11 and C14 telescopes, yielding f/6.3 for C5, C8, C9ﾼ and C11 telescopes and f/7 for the C14.

Wide field of view

The Celestron Reducer/Corrector f/6.3 offers wide fields of view with any Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. And when used for astrophotography, it reduces exposure time by a factor of 3.

Spectacular results

Celestron doesn't manufacture an f/6.3 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, because the design would have to incorporate a large central obstruction, producing marked loss in contrast. In addition, it would be unable to utilize longer focal ratios for certain objects. So Celestron designed the four-element, fully multicoated f/6.3 Reducer/Corrector.
