Q1: What is the difference between a LX200R and a LX200R OTA? What is OTA?
A: OTA is an acronym for Optical Tube Assembly. The OTA is the telescope's optical tube only. It does not include mount, tripod, finderscope, finderscope bracket, diagonals, eyepieces or any other "add-ons" that would make it a complete telescope. The LX200R, in contrast, includes all these items and is a complete telescope, ready for viewing.
Q2: What is its' weight, please?
A: The Meade 10 inch LX200 OTA tube weighs 28lbs.
