Q1: Can I use this adapter with sony digital camera TRV22E?
A: Absolutely, this adapter is one of the most versatile Digital Camera Adapters on the market. Fitting to your camera will not be a problem.
Q2: How does this adapter work and how do you take pictures with your camera on your telescope?
A: The adapter clamps to your telescope's eyepiece, and the camera mounts with the standard tripod screw. The camera lens butts up against the eyepiece, so you can "shoot" whatever your telescope sees.
Q3: will this adapter work with a nexstar slt 130
A: There's no reason it shouldn't work with an SLT 130. It clamps directly to a 1.25-inch eyepiece and mates the camera firmly to it.
Q4: Would it be better to use a Digital SLR camera or a 35mm camera when taking pictures?
A: We'd recommend using a digital camera with a telescope.
Q5: I have a DSLR (Canon EOS). Should a T-Mount and T Adapter (Universal 1 1/4 Inch) not be used instead of placing the lens almost against the eyepiece? Is the telescope eyepiece still used with the Universal T Adapter on a DSLR?
A: The T-Adapter/T-ring setup is preferable to using the universal camera adapter. You do not use an eyepiece with the T-Adapter. The adapter slips into the telescope's focuser in place of the eyepiece. In essence, this system turns your telescope into a very powerful telephoto lens. The amount of magnification you'll achieve depends on the size of your camera's CCD chip, among other things. However, you can probably expect magnification levels in the same range as those produced with 5-7mm eyepieces.
