Comments about Meade 114EQ-ASTR Equatorial Reflector Telescope:
Fairly easy to assemble though the instructions could have been better. The 25 mm eyepiece works well when looking at the moon. Lousy weather plus cloud cover has prevented me from seeing a lot, but I expect it will work well. I also bought a 102 mm Meade refractor for my son, but I haven't compared them yet. Excellent value for the price.

Comments about Meade 114EQ-ASTR Equatorial Reflector Telescope:
Haven't used a telescope that was younger then myself (48) Over all very happy. Price, shipping and product all good. only complaint is the veiw finder. Not worth even putting on. Other website for same model wanted $45 for shipping above cost. Got this with free shipping fast and it was free shipping..

Comments about Meade 114EQ-ASTR Equatorial Reflector Telescope:
We got the telescope, and put it together in a few short minutes. We went outside, and tried to find the moon, but we literally could see nothing. Yes, we took the lens cap off, but still, nothing. We were very discouraged. Then we looked at the picture on the box...And realized we were looking at the ground, not the sky! LOL! Once we aimed the thing to the heavens, we were very pleased! We plan to really get a lot of use once the weather warms up. We can't see a lot, with trees, and being near the city, so we will take it when we go up to the mountains of PA this spring.

Comments about Meade 114EQ-ASTR Equatorial Reflector Telescope:
This telescope is great for gazing at the stars, moon, and other plants. A great tool for teaching our grandkids about our universe. The only small thing that I have noticed is the stand is a little unstable. But we are so very pleased with it's performance and quality.
