Q1: can i see saturn with this telescope i have 50mm f-600 telescope pl give some usefull tips
A: Yes you will be able to see planets such as Saturn, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. You will also be able to detect such deep sky objects as the Orion Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy. The bigger the telescope however the bigger the brighter the image.
Q2: What will the best use for the 200x50 refractor? Meaning what stars/planets will be best viewed with this?
A: A 50mm Refractor will be good for our solar system. The 50mm aperture is what the telescope uses to gather light. The bigger the aperture of the scope the larger and brighter the image, as well as allowing you to see more faint objects. This is a great scope though for a beginning child astronomer.
Q3: Hi my mom purchase me the 200x50 refractor telescope from tasco. Its my first and I really like it but not sure how to use it or understand what Im viewing. Do you have a booklet that has type of information for me or is there a website I can log on too? I really like my telescope but need some guidance in using it. Help
A: Hi, Sean: Congratulations on starting out in astronomy! It's a fascinating hobby that will last your entire life. For beginners, we recommend the Peterson Guide. It's full of information that the first-time telescope user needs to know. It's even inexpensive!
