Q4: Is the Tasco Luminova a good telescope for veiwing the outer planets in detail or do i need to be looking at a different telescope?

A: The Luminova is an excellent choice for a beginner. also the choice of a Refractor for viewing planets is perfect. The biggest thing though that will make a difference in viewing the outer planets is going to be the aperture of the scope. 60 mm is ig enough to be able to see the ring around saturn and depending on their positions the moons of Jupiter. However the images of deeper planets will be better the bigger the diameter of the scope.
