Meade's 40mm Super Plossl, 1.25-inch ocular is part of the famous Series 4000 eyepiece collection. Series 4000 oculars are among the finest eyepieces obtainable for astronomical telescopes. They're available in 18 focal lengths and in three design formats to suit any observing requirement.

The 40mm eyepiece will yield 48X magnification when used with the Meade ETX-125PE telescope and 37X when used with ETX-105 scopes.

Each Series 4000 Super Plossl, Super-wide angle and ultra-wide-angle eyepiece is shipped in a dust-proof, threaded, poly bottle that provides secure, long-term storage.
