Q1: Will I be happy with this telescope? I have never purchased one, but my daughter has asked for one. She wants to be able to see the moon, different stars, and planets. I need an honest
A: answer and not just what I want to hear to sell me this product.
I would suggest something with a larger aperture than 60 like this one. check the Zhumell Aurora 70mm. Much brighter and bigger images.
Q2: i wanted to know wats the distance of the telescope.i.e,for how many kms or miles it helps in viewing properly
A: Zhumell's Zenith 60x600 Telescope will aid viewing out to the limit of its light-gathering ability, which is many millions of miles. You'll be able to see the Moon very clearly with it, and you should be able to pick out polar caps on Mars, as well as Saturn's ring system and Jupiter's largest moons. No Earth-based telescope, however, will give you the kind of views that the Hubble Space Telescope does. Even the Hubble must take time photographs of the sky to get the views it does.
Q3: The price when it sold are totaly fix price or any added+-?
The products avalaible in Malaysia or not?
A: The Zhumell Zenith 60mm refractor is certainly available for shipment to Malasia. To determine final price, just put one of the scopes into a shopping cart on our web site and proceed to checkout. Enter your country and postal code to see shipping options and costs. You may also need to pay import duty, so it would be a good idea to check with the Malasian customs officials before you order.
Q4: what is the aperture size of this telescope?
A: Aperture size is 60mm.
Q5: Can you see the moon craters and also Jupiter and its moons like a little dot or the planet and moons in big size.
A: The Moon will show up very nicely. Jupiter on high magnification will appear about the size of a quarter, while the four largest moons will be pinhead-size.
Q6: While viewing a terrestial object, will the object be seen upside down or right side up?
A: When viewed through the eyepiece and diagonal, the images will be right side up.
Q7: Dear Sir
I am plannig to buy a telescope to apply it on my Kodak z740 Digtal camera, I wonder what is the proper eyepieces to adapt between the telescope and the camera?
my aim is to shoot space images (moon and other planets) beside the landscape on
A: To adapt your Kodak Z740 to a telescope, we recommend the Zhumell Universal Digital Camera Adapter (small). Here is the URL; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://telescopes.com/products/zhumell-universal-digiscoping-adapter-small-36562.html. We'll be glad to ship one to you overseas.
Q8: hı.l want to buy a long dıstance bınocular.for lookıng to the mauntaın.the mountaın that l want to look from my house ıts about 10 km.and l want to see mıflons over there.mıflon ıs anımal that sı
A: You'll need a very powerful binocular to see anything the size of a dog at 10km. The most powerful binoculars will only bring objects 60 or so times closer than they actually are, or roughly 170 meters away at that 10km distance. Here's the URL for the Oberwerk 25x 62x100mm Binocular Telescope, which will give you that type of view: http://telescopes.com/products/oberwerk-100mm-binocular-telescope-25x-62x-case-and-tripod-21500.html.
For really close viewing, though, you'll need a good, high-power spotting scope. The Meade ETX-125 Spotting Scope has great optics, fits a standard photographic tripod and works well for both land and sky viewing. It also takes standard astronomical eyepieces, and the three eyepieces it comes with will give you up to 196X magnification. That's enough to get you within 50 meters or so at 10km. Here's the URL so you can see: http://telescopes.com/products/meade-etx-125-spotting-scope-w3-piece-eyepiece-package-standard-coatings-6323.html.
Q9: Do they provide weather proof cases?
A: The Zhumell Zenith 60x600 Telescope comes in a water-resistant carrying case.
Q10: What is the difference between a refractor and a regular telescope? Also is this telescope good for an 8 year old?
A: A refractor is one kind of telescope. In fact, it's the type of telescope most are familiar with -- the kind that uses lenses to gather light, focus it and render an image. Other types are reflectors, which use mirrors to accomplish the same thing, and catadioptrics, which use both lenses and mirrors. The Zenith is a great scope for a child. It's small, light, easy to use and nevertheless, quite powerful.
Q11: i want to use this to see the statue of liberty from my condo, will it work or is it just for astronomy stuff
A: Yes, the Zhumell Zenith 60x600 Telescope will work just fine for viewing things like the Statue of Liberty as well as celestial objects.
